WPU Application Forms and Requirements

1. Grade 12 School-Leaver Applicants (NOAS)

Grade 12 applicants apply through the National Online Application System (NOAS).

  • Create a NOAS account using DHERST credentials.
  • Rank WPU programs among the five preference choices.
  • STAT-P test is required.
  • Selections are based on:
    • Exam results
    • Program preferences
    • Entry requirements
    • Available spaces
  • Successful students receive an offer letter through NOAS.

2. Non-School Leaver (NSL) Applicants

Non-school leavers apply directly to WPU.

  • Submit certified transcripts and certificates.
  • Attach valid ID and references.
  • STAT-P may be required depending on the program.

3. International Applicants

International applicants follow the online process and must provide:

  • Passport copy
  • Certified academic transcripts
  • Proof of English proficiency (if required)
  • Identification documents

Accepted students must apply for a PNG Student Visa.


General Admission Requirements

For PNG Applicants

  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
  • STAT-P test score
  • NID or valid identification
  • Police & medical clearances
  • Academic and character references
  • Certified copies of all documents

For International Applicants

  • Passport
  • Certified transcripts
  • English proficiency documents (if required)
  • Other identification documents
  • Eligibility for PNG student visa

Application Process (All Applicants)

  1. Create an Online Account – register on the WPU application portal.
  2. Upload Documents – submit all certified documents and references.
  3. Pay the Application Fee – amount announced by WPU each year.
  4. Sit the STAT-P Test – required for most undergraduate programs.
  5. Wait for Selections – NOAS for school-leavers, internal for NSLs.
  6. Receive Offer Letter – includes instructions for fee payment, registration, and orientation.

Application Timeline

  • Main Intake: Closes 31 August each year
  • Mid-Year Intake (if offered): Closes 1 April

Tuition, Fees & Living Costs (Estimated)

  • Undergraduate programs: K10,000 – K20,000+
  • On-campus accommodation: varies by dormitory
  • Meals & living expenses: additional
  • STAT-P test: around K130
