Curtin University Global Future Leaders Scholarships
Overview
Curtin University is excited to offer the Curtin Global Future Leaders Scholarship, designed to support international students in pursuing their academic ambitions and gaining a world-class education. This merit-based scholarship provides a one-off credit of AUD$10,000 towards tuition fees for eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs at Curtin’s Western Australian campuses.
Scholarship Details
Value: A one-off AUD$10,000 credit applied to the recipient’s tuition fee account after the census date of their first study period.
Eligible Courses: All undergraduate degrees and Master’s by coursework programs available to international students.

Study Location: Curtin Western Australian campuses (WA Campus).
Duration: Recipients must study a minimum of 1.5 years (300 credits) at a WA Campus.

Closes: 1 September 2025
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be international, full fee-paying, non-sponsored students of any nationality (except Australian).
- Be enrolled in a Curtin undergraduate or Master’s by coursework program starting in July 2025 or later.
- Have achieved a Credit level or equivalent Course-Weighted-Average in their most recent eligible course of study.
- Commit to studying at least 1.5 years (300 credits) at a Curtin WA Campus.
Important Notes:
- The scholarship only covers tuition fees and does not apply to other international student expenses.
- The scholarship cannot be withdrawn as cash or transferred to another university or non-WA Curtin campus/partner.
The scholarship may be revoked if:
- The recipient receives Credit for Recognised Learning (CRL) and no longer meets eligibility criteria.
- The recipient underloads or fails to maintain full-time enrolment.
- The recipient already holds another scholarship or sponsorship.
- The recipient defers their studies beyond 2025 or fails to accept their Letter of Offer by the specified date.
- The recipient breaches Curtin’s policies, Student Charter, or scholarship terms.
Application Process
No separate scholarship application is required. All eligible applicants who apply for a Curtin course through a registered Curtin education agent or directly via Curtin’s online application system will be automatically assessed. Global Admissions will issue a supplementary letter with the Letter of Offer to confirm successful scholarship recipients.
To secure the scholarship, recipients must pay the full deposit amount outlined in their Letter of Offer for their first study period. As scholarships are limited, Curtin reserves the right to cease offering the scholarship if not accepted by the due date specified in the Letter of Offer.
Enrolment Requirements
To maintain the scholarship, recipients must:
- Remain enrolled as an international, full fee-paying, non-sponsored student.
- Maintain an academic status of ‘Good Standing’ (reviewed each study period).
- Maintain full-time enrolment as per the course study plan.
- Avoid taking a Leave of Absence or withdrawing from the course.
- Comply with Curtin’s policies, Student Charter, and scholarship terms.
- Be aware that outstanding fees become the recipient’s responsibility if the scholarship is revoked.
