Hana worked hard for this opportunity: “I had to complete advance placements and honors subjects, take the Standardized Aptitude Test (SAT), and achieve the required GPA and SAT score to apply through College Board and the American System to the University of Hawai’i.”

Hana recently graduated from Ukarumpa International Secondary School (UISS) and, in addition to studying the stars, hopes to develop her musical, visual, and studio arts skills while studying at UH.

The United States South Pacific scholarship program is a competition open to the ten (10) South Pacific islands nations to purse undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Hawai’I and is administered by the East West Center.
